Before, it was Blue’s Clues.

Now, it’s rock music and a shaved head.

He’s not dead after all! I really adored him during the Blue’s Clues days and even sang along with him. I even remember that having a Handy-Dandy notebook was all the rage among my classmates, and anyone who had one was envied. The trademark striped green shirt was what we always waited for, aside from the paw prints, of course (Haha). Suddenly, someone replaced him as the host of the children’s show. I stopped watching the show even before the replacement, but it was more reason for me not to watch it.

I would say I was a fan of the show–I liked singing the songs, screaming “Clue! Clue!” when I see one (although now I just laugh and ask why Steve can’t see the clue that’s screaming out loud “I’m here!” until the kids’ voices repeat the line “A clue! A clue!”). I liked Mailbox, Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper, I liked the soap thingamajig character… Although I was a ‘fan’, I never really speculated on where Steve has gone. Some say he died of heroin overdose. To be honest, I didn’t care.

BUUUT, it’s really awesome to know that he’s not dead. Instead, he has less hair :P, a music album, and, simply put, a new look. Small pictures, but hmm, whatever:

Edit: HOLY MOLY. I JUST REMEMBERED. I will turn fourteen on the 7th. 5 days short of becoming a year older. *shudder*

Procrastinator of the Year

July 31, 2007 (comments)

While Ellie is eaten up by schoolwork (and apparently is online and procrastinating) and stress, we bring you this…
“And now…the Procrastinator of the Year award goes to…”

(Lady in overly sparkly dress opens the envelope and brings forth suspense, while flashing the ‘blah’ faces on the nominees on the screen)

(Man whispers, “No doubt about it”, and unintentionally says it out loud in the microphone–audience chuckle)

“…Ellie!”

(People clap, some are irritated, the other nominees’ faces pretend to smile, blahblahblah, Ellie goes to stage…)

“Um…”

(Ellie takes the award and runs away from the stage)

The end.
